Rasheedah Corbitt has been practicing law since 2011, beginning her career in bankruptcy law before transitioning into family law and juvenile justice in 2012. She was drawn to family law to help improve family dynamics and support individuals through challenging transitions. Rasheedah believes that, even though it may be difficult at times, change can create space for healing, growth, and renewed happiness. Her work is also driven by a lifelong passion for advocating for children and young people.
Rasheedah earned her Associate of Science degree from Ricks College (now BYU–Idaho), her Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from Brigham Young University, and her Juris Doctor from Texas Southern University’s Thurgood Marshall School of Law, an HBCU she proudly represents. She is licensed to practice in Utah and has built a career rooted in family law and juvenile justice.
She is a member of the Association of Family & Conciliation Courts (AFCC) and the Utah State Bar Family Law Section, and she is preparing to become a Private Guardian ad Litem (PGAL).
Outside of work, Rasheedah enjoys riding motorcycles with her husband, spending time with her two cats, going to the gym, and bicycling. She is passionate about supporting children, seniors, veterans, and social programs that promote self-reliance
